Recently, eBay has announced that they will stop the international trade of ivory.
This is definitely a move that will help to decrease the number of endangered species being killed every year.
However, though eBay have posted rules which ban the sale of endangered species or wildlife products, but they are not able to monitor all the items that are posted.
Therefore everyone has to play a part either to stop purchasing items from endangered species or to stop selling these items.
SAVE THE ANIMALS:)

Great article!
I believe that most people would appreciate eBay's ban on trade of ivory. eBay is one of the biggest 'trading port' for goods. Thus, the imposed ban would definitely reduce the trading of ivory by a great amount.
In addition, this ban may also encourage other trading organisations to carry out similar actions/ban. If that happens, the conservation of wildlife would definitely reach a greater level.
Well its about time isnt it? This step ptaken by ebay would be the stepping stone to encourage other companies offering buying/selling service online to keep a lookout and control over such items.
Ebay being a widely used online buy/sell system might just have placed emphasis on doing their part to reduce the availability of items made from ivory.
Lets just hope other companies will take inniative to do the same.
